The demand for gas is anticipated to expand by up to 500%, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while India’s portion of the world oil demand is forecast to rise to 11%. He emphasised how India’s booming energy industry is creating new prospects for investment and cooperation. This was expressed in his speech to kick off India Energy Week.

According to the International Energy Association, which the prime minister cited, India’s energy needs will be at their highest in the coming decade, creating a business opportunity for investors and other energy sector stakeholders. Later that day, in accordance with the roadmap for ethanol blending, he also introduced E20 fuel at 84 retail locations of oil marketing corporations in 11 states.E20 designates a combination of 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline. The amount of ethanol in the gasoline blend is indicated by the number 20 in the label E20.

Or, to put it another way, the greater the number, the larger the percentage of ethanol in the fuel. In India, the current ethanol blend in gasoline is 10%, which is the highest level ever.
