On Monday, Income Tax officials allegedly conducted simultaneous raids at the homes of three businessmen in Padampur, Bargarh district.
- Raids were carried out in the presence of armed CRPF jawans at the homes of Md Sajid in Hanumanpada, Manabhanjan Sahu in Sahupada, and Gaju Agrawal in Shastri Chowk.
It is worth noting that a bye-election in is scheduled for December 5. The raids ahead of the byelection have raised numerous concerns.
