Jersery starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur has been postponed yet again due to the sudden rise of COVID cases in India. The movie was schedule to release in August 2020. However, due to lockdown and closure of cinema halls, the movie got delayed and finally got a release date of December 31st.

While everything was going smooth and the movie was expected to hit the screens just 3 days from now, the sudden rise of COVID cases have halted everything. Cinema Halls will be totally shut in Delhi and might get shut in other parts of India as well. Therefore, the makers of the movie have decided to postponed the release of the flick.
In an official statement, the makers shared, “In view of the current circumstances and new covid guidelines we have decided to postpone the theatrical release of our film Jersey. We have received immense love from you all so far and want to thank you all for everything. Until then everyone please stay safe and healthy, and wishing you all the best for the new year ahead!! Team Jersey!!”
