Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar has been admitted to hospital since January 11. The nightangle of India was tested COVID positive and was also suffering from pneunonia. Since January 11 she has been in hospital under strict medical vigilance.
Though not much of update is shared on her health reports by her family or medical team, it has been reported that there has been good improvement in the health of Lata Mangeshkar. As per the reports, on Thursday morning she was given a “trial of extubation (off the invasive Ventilator)” and is showing signs of improvement.
The statement from the family read, “Lata didi continues to be in the ICU at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai under treatment. She has been given a TRIAL of extubation (off the invasive Ventilator) this morning.” “Presently, she is showing signs of improvement but will remain under observation of the team of doctors headed by Dr Pratit Samdani. We thank each one of you for your prayers and good wishes.”
