Speaking under anonymity, a BJP leader stated that Yadav’s Cabinet will include senior politicians and fresh faces, such as members of Parliament who successfully ran for office in the assembly elections.Days after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) named him as the state’s top elected official, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav was expected to swear in up to 28 ministers as part of the first expansion of his council of ministers on Monday.Speaking under the pseudonym, a BJP official stated that Yadav’s Cabinet will include fresh faces and prominent figures, such as members of Parliament who successfully ran for state assembly seats. It was also anticipated that some ministers from the previous administration would take office.

Before the expansion, Yadav sent Governor Mangubhai Patel the list of ministers to be admitted. At 3.30 pm, Patel was supposed to give the ministers the oath of office and confidentiality.
This month, the BJP swept back to power in Madhya Pradesh, taking 163 out of 230 seats, while the Congress managed to take 66.On December 13, Yadav, 58, took the oath of office alongside his deputies, Jagdish Deoda and Rajendra Shukla. After serving four terms as chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who had ruled the central Indian state for 16 of the previous 18 years, was replaced by the three-time congressman.
