Armed criminals allegedly stole gold ornaments from a jewelry business in the Jajpur area on Monday during a daylight heist. Initial reports indicated that seven armed criminals participated in the dacoity. According to reports, all the items from the jewelry store in Vyasanagar were taken. According to sources, thugs with firearms broke into the shop and assaulted the staff before fleeing with the jewelry. The criminals’ attack resulted in two staff being hurt.
The criminals took the guard’s firearm from the jewelry showroom before holding the employees and other clients inside hostage. The theft took place between 1:30 and 2 o’clock. The thieves entered the showroom pretending to be customers. Some staff members were violently attacked as they attempted to rebuff the miscreants. Senior authorities, including Jajpur SP, have arrived at the scene and have begun an inquiry.
Pranab Sahu, the store manager, said: “At first, two had arrived pretending to be customers. At first, two others attacked the security guard and some of our employees. They brandished pistols and threatened our personnel. Sahu claims that the thieves also stole some mobile phones and the CCTV cameras’ hard drives.
