Following a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district this afternoon, three Odisha districts—Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, and Koraput—have been put on high alert.
According to reports, especially when LWEs carry out such attacks, Odisha’s bordering districts with the neighboring state are susceptible to an inflow of naxals. The State police has requested that the districts take this matter seriously.
Up to 10 DRG jawans and a civilian driver were murdered today in Dantewada when a Maoist-planted IED detonated.
