The U.S. space agency, NASA, is collecting information on whether or not there was life on the Red Planet in the past through the Preservation Rover sent to Mars. Some scientists, on the other hand, are trying to understand Mars through a lake on Earth. The lake is said to be in Turkey, according to Reuters
According to NASA, the minerals and rocks found in Turkey’s Salda Lake are inextricably linked to the rocks found near the Jejero Crater on Mars. By the way, Jejera Crater was the land where NASA’s Preserve Rover landed.
According to Reuters, some of the information from Salda Lake could help us understand the species that already exist on Mars. NASA officials say it could give important information about Mars.
In fact, scientists in the United States and Turkey researched parts of Lake Salda in 2019. Salda is also known as the Maldives of Turkey because of its clear blue water.
