Mass Shooting in Pre School Thailand

According to Reuters, who cited a police official, at least 34 people were killed on Thursday in a shooting at a daycare for children in Thailand’s northeast, including 22 toddlers (some as young as 2 years old).

The official verified that Panya Khamrab, the shooter, was an ex-police lieutenant colonel who killed his wife, child, and himself as well as others. According to reports, he was let off from the police department last year.As they slept, some victims as young as two years old were attacked. Twelve injured people were brought to the Nong Bua Lamphu district hospital.

According to a local official who was present and spoke to Reuters, “The shooter came in around lunchtime and shot four or five officials at the daycare centre first.” Jidapa Boonsom. A teacher who was eight months pregnant was one of them. She added that the gunman then forced access into a closed room where children were sleeping since “at first everybody assumed it was fireworks.”
According to the allegation, videos shared on social media showed what seemed to be children’s bodies lying in bloody pools at the centre in the town of Uthai Sawan in the northeastern province of Nong Bua Lamphu.
