Even after demands to advance the school summer vacation in Odisha, school and mass education minister Samir Dash stated that the government will take decision after accessing situation.
According to the reports, Dash said “The higher education department has declared summer vacation from June 1 to 16 while we have fixed the holiday from June 6 to 16. We have received representations from different quarters for the advancement of the summer holiday. The department will take an appropriate decision considering the situation. However, no decision has been taken in this regard so far.”
“The department will revisit the decision as per the prevailing situation next month. There’s no threat of COVID right now, so I think holding Class 10, 12 exams won’t be problematic,” the minister added.
