Elon Musk has indicated that there is currently “no decision” regarding reactivating former US president Donald Trump’s Twitter account, even though he has reactivated some divisive accounts that had been previously blocked. The accounts of Jordan Peterson, Kathy Griffin, and the conservative satirical website The Babylon Bee were all reinstated by the new Twitter CEO.

“Jordan Peterson, Babylon Bee, and Kathie Griffin have all been reinstated. Trump has not yet made a decision, “Musk published.Griffin’s account was temporarily suspended earlier this month after she changed it to “Elon Musk” and made fun of the Tesla CEO.Peterson and The Babylon Bee’s accounts were suspended earlier this year for breaking the terms of service regarding hateful conduct. Alexander Jones, an American far-right radio personality and well-known conspiracy theorist, was requested by a user, but Musk declined. The new Twitter policy, according to Musk, is “freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach.”

He warned his followers that “negative/hate tweets would be max deboosted and demonetised, meaning no adverts or other revenue to Twitter.”Musk added that this just applies to the one tweet, not the entire account, and that you won’t discover it until you deliberately seek it out, which is no different from the rest of the Internet.
Following the incident on the US Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021, Trump was blocked from Twitter. Later, he launched his own website, Truth Social.
