The recruitment of 28 Sub Inspectors and 168 Constables for 28 Permanent Police Outposts across Odisha has been approved by CM Naveen Patnaik.
These 196 positions have been created by way of redistribution of various positions in the Odisha Police Department for being appointed at 28 Permanent Police Outposts.
Each Outpost will have one Sub Inspector and six Constables. They will be responsible for various criminal investigations and law enforcement. This would strengthen the state’s law and order situation.
