No Work From Home For Central Government Employees Anymore

It is the end of work for home days for all the central government employees. Yesterday, the union government announced that all its employees in their full capacity will join the office and work from the office form today, i.e. 7th of February 2022.

The decision to resume office at 100 percent capacity was taken in the presence of the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, chaired by Union minister Jitendra Singh, in view of decreasing number of daily COVID-19 cases in India.

“Dr. Jitendra Singh announced this evening that a review of the pandemic situation was done today and in view of the decline in the number of COVID cases as well as a decline in positivity rate, it has been decided that full office attendance shall be resumed from tomorrow and employees at all levels, without an exemption, shall attend office on regular basis with effect from February 7, 2022,” the ministry said in a statement.
