State Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari will present the Interim Budget in the Odisha Assembly today. A budget of Rs 1.06 lakh crore will be presented for the financial year 2022-23.
The interim budget will be presented today and then the full budget. Earlier on Sunday, the interim budget was approved during an important meeting of the Council of Ministers and the State Cabinet.
Pujari will present the budget in the form of vote-on-account and discussion on the budget will be conducted on the same day. The Appropriation Bill on vote-on-account will be laid before the House on March 31, the concluding day.
