Odisha-based company secures contract to produce firefighting equipment for IAF

For the first time, Classic Tecnologistics and Trade Pvt Ltd (CTTPL) will produce cargo pallets and augmented reality (AR)/virtual reality (VR) training tools for the Indian Air Force (IAF).Contracts for the two goods, which are now being imported from the US, have been given to CTTPL by the IAF. The contracts significantly support India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.The company, which has its national headquarters in Delhi and its headquarters in Odisha, is the first in the nation to produce the tools and cargo pallets that were created in conjunction with IIT, Chennai.

The company has contracts for mobile container kitchens, field toilets and operational container shelters that will be utilised by the Indian Air Force in addition to the two revolutionary products.According to a formal statement sent by the IAF’s media department, “The IAF recently signed two contracts worth almost Rs 50 crore with the MSME which will enhance the operational capability of not only the IAF but also of its sister services.”While the contracts from the IAF will encourage self-reliance in the defence industry, the measures will pave the way for future development of high-end strategic technological items in the sphere of indigenous military manufacture.According to Agarwal, the company anticipates receiving additional orders in the defence and internal security sectors thanks to its industry-leading quality, dependability, and technical innovation. It has strategic alliances with businesses in the US, Canada, and the UK.
