The Odisha Scheduled Areas Transfer of Immovable Property (By Scheduled Tribes) Regulation, 1956 (Odisha Regulation 2 of 1956) was amended, but the Odisha Cabinet rescinded its earlier decision on Monday.
The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management presented the idea.
During its November 14, 2023 meeting, the State Cabinet decided to make changes to the 1956 Odisha Scheduled Areas Transfer of Immovable Property (By Scheduled Tribes) Regulation.
