The Government of Odisha group spoke with senior executives from semiconductor companies and venture capital firms today, attended a significant deep-tech roundtable, and engaged with Silicon Valley’s youngsters. The team met with Yin Chang, Senior Vice President of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE), for the first session of the day. A key architect of heterogeneous integration (HI), ASE is one of the biggest OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) companies in the world.
This (HI) technique combines independently produced components into a more complex assembly. The corporation has operations in Taiwan, China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, and Singapore, among other countries in East and Southeast Asia. The delegation briefed the firm team about the industrial environment in Odisha and emphasized the rich incentives given by various regulations.
The corporation will submit a thorough proposal and send a team to Odisha for review after being impressed by the potential of the state and by their interaction with the delegation. The group also participated in a deep-tech discussion today, which was attended by more than 40 prominent CEOs and Chief Experience Officers (CXOs) from a variety of industries, including IT, venture capital, electronics and semiconductors, robots, and AI/ML. Top leaders from organizations including Meta, Google, Dell, Intel, Sony, Amazon AWS, Falcon X, and innovative Silicon Valley startups were also among them.
