Odisha Director General of Police(DGP), Sunil Kumar Bansal has visited three Left Wing Extremism(LWE) affected districts on Monday.
During his visit, he has reviewed the strategies to eliminate Mao-related issues from Koraput, Nabarangpur, and Rayagada districts.
Accompanied by a number of higher officials of Intelligence and Operation wings of Odisha police, Bansal discussed various matters regarding nullifying the Maoist activities in the cut-off areas of the Koraput, Nabarangpur, and Rayagada areas.
In a significant meeting convened in Koraput in the afternoon, Bansal has briefed the blueprint of handling Mao activities with DIG, South-Western Range, Rajesh Pandit, Koraput SP, Varun Gunthapali, Cobra Commandants, and the Border Security Force(BSF) Authorities.
After the meeting, Bansal has scheduled to visit Nabarangpur and Rayagada in the evening.
