The COVID situation is still not yet eradicated and necessary measures are mandatory to take. The temples will remain closed for the devotees on Makar Sankranti that is on 14th January. As in the festive time, the temple usually witnesses a huge crowd of devotees so to main the social distancing norms, the temple will remain closed on the festivity.

Even devotees who are from outside the districts have to show a COVID-19 negative report before seeking entry into the temple. Wearing of masks, thermal scanning and proper sanitization of the hands will be mandatory for all the devotees before entering the premises of the temple.

Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, all the religious places were shut down in March to avoid a large gathering of people.
