Samir Ranjan Dash, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister informed that the school for class 6 and 7 students may reopen first in Odisha in a phased manner.
According to the reports, Minister Samir Ranjan Dash stated that they are considering reopening schools for Class 6 and 7 students in the first phase. The decision to start physical classes for classes 1 to 5 students will be taken in the next phase and they hope that all the classes will be commenced by the New Year.
Earlier the Minister hinted that the reopening of the physical model of teaching for class 1 to 7 students can happen after Diwali and as the possibility of the Covid-19 third wave is negligible so there is the possibility that the reopening of schools for Standard 1 to 7 students in the State can be explored.
He further added that till now no decision has been taken but we are taking all possible measures to ensure that classes are reopened in a graded manner.
