After the chilly wintry condition in Odisha for the past one week, there will be some respite for the citizens from the state today. As per the IMD Bhubaneshwar reports, the mercury level of the state will go high by 3 to 4 degrees Celcius till February 4 or 5 due to disturbances in the Bay Of Bengal. Thereby, it will give some respite to the people from the bone-chilling winters.
The disturbances over the Bay Of Bengal will also lead to mild to moderate rainfall in 4 to 5 regions of interior Odisha. While there will be mild rainfall till February 3, the intensity of the rainfall will likely increase from February 4 till February 5.
Shallow to moderate fog may also prevail in some places over several districts in the next couple of days.
