The vigilance officers of Odisha raided various locations in Odisha. The incident is in connection with the allegation against Anganwadi worker-Namita Dalai.
Namita Dalai for owning assets that are asymmetrical to the income sources or the income she earns. Namita works at the Ward No 9 of the Berhampur Municipal Corporation. After the information was laid out the vigilance officers of Odisha raided many places of the state.
The raids were conducted at Namita’s residential property at the Laxmi Nrusingha Nagar, 1st lane, Berhampur by the sleuths of the anti-corruption agency. After that, another house with the same lane- the house at Ganesh Nahag, 4th Lane in Berhampur-was also raided.
Along with this, her two apartments in Bhubaneswar and her relative’s house at Dalia Street in Berhampur were raided. The raid was conducted based on the search warrant which was issued by the Special Judge Vigilance, Berhampur.
The raids were underway when reports last came in and the calculation of the total valuation of her property is yet to be completed.
