On his birth day, PM Modi honours Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Shah launches the “Run for Unity” campaign

On Tuesday, the nation was wished a happy birthday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in honour of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. In remembrance of Sardar Patel’s national service, Prime Minister Modi stated that the citizens are still guided by his dedication to national integration.

His dedication to national integration serves as our ongoing inspiration. On X (previously Twitter), PM Modi tweeted, “We are forever indebted to his service.”

On the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary, the Prime Minister visited a daredevil stunts event hosted by women members of the CRPF at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. Notably, Sardar Patel—who is regarded as the CRPF’s founder—had visions that were followed in the formation of the central force.At the event, artists from villages near the border between China and India performed.President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other dignitaries paid floral tributes to the Sardar Patel statue at a special event held at Patel Chowk in New Delhi.Rashtriya Ekta Divas is a national holiday commemorating the birth anniversary. Shah leads a “Run for Unity” rally that starts at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.
