Weekly active users of ChatGPT in India have quadrupled in the past year.
India ranks among the top five developer markets on the OpenAI platform.
The country also has the world’s largest population of students using ChatGPT.
The India team will focus on strengthening partnerships with local businesses, developers, academic institutions, and government stakeholders to accelerate AI adoption.
