The prestigious award was presented by Shri Gopal Krishna, a former secretary in the Indian government’s ministry of shipping, at a ceremony for the 8th East Coast Maritime Forum 2023, which was held in conjunction with the Eastern Star Awards 2023 on February 24, 2023, at The Lalit Great Eastern in Kolkata.”Stevedores Company of the Year” for 2023 was once more awarded to The OSL Group.There were many senior OSL Group officials in attendance.The celebration honoured prominent members of the industry who had changed society, made exceptional contributions to enhancing the community, set standards for entrepreneurship, and had remarkable leadership abilities. Under his direction, the first riverine jetty in Odisha was built in the important port city of Paradeep, adding a new dimension to the transportation system.
