PATIENTS TREATED UNDER TREE DUE TO SHUTDOWN OF CANCER HOSPITAL OPD

The Coronavirus pandemic has created a havoc situation worldwide. Due to the virus contact in hospitals, doctors, nurses, and other paramedic staff are easily getting contacting COVID-19. Due to which these hospitals are forcing them to get shut down as that can lead to a decrease in the spread of the virus

Recently the doctors of Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) are treating their patients under the tree near the premises of the hospital. As the OPD is been shut down by the healthcare institute due to the positive cases of the staff, the cancer patients and their attendants had o wait under the shade of a tree for several hours. 

The doctors are treating the patients under the tree and due to the shutdown of the department, no new patients are been admitted to the hospital. Even the patients who had undergone surgery are not been admitted due to the risk of the COVID virus. 

The pandemic and the subsequent shutdown of hospitals have been distressing for cancer patients all over the state.
