On October 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Rozgar Mela recruitment drive, with a goal of hiring 10 lakh people. 75,000 new appointees will be hired in the first tranche. At 11 a.m., a video conferencing recruitment drive will be held. During the event, PM Modi will also address the appointees.
The new recruits will work in 38 government ministries and departments across the country. They will be appointed at the Group A, Group B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted), and Group C levels.
The recruitment will include personnel from the central armed forces, sub-inspectors, constables, LDCs, Stenos, PAs, income tax inspectors, and MTS, among others.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, this is a significant step by the government toward providing job opportunities for youth and ensuring the welfare of citizens. According to the statement, all ministries and departments are working to fill existing vacancies against sanctioned posts, as directed by the prime minister.
