The arrest of suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of sexual harassment, has been welcomed by the leaders of many political parties.On Friday, leaders from all political parties expressed their approval of the arrest of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of rape and sexual abuse. Meanwhile, the Janata Dal (Secular), which had suspended the 33-year-old, pledged its full cooperation and support to the probe.”The arrest has been made and whatever legal proceedings have to be followed will take place,” stated State Cabinet Minister Priyank Kharge. His comments were made just hours after Revanna was detained at Bengaluru airport after arriving from Germany, by the special investigation team (SIT), which is looking into the accusations made against him. Opposition leader R Ashok stated that Revanna ought to have been brought to justice.The law is not greater than Prajwal Revanna.
