Preparations for Diwali Celebration begins in Dhenkanal

While ‘Diwali’ is just a day away, Dhenkanal town has already started witnessing the hustle and bustle in around the city. The earthen diya sellers have set their temporary shops in the road side, also illuminating lights and small lanterns can be seen hanging at many shops displayed for the buyers. Many people have already started decorating their houses with illuminating colourful lights.Also there is a good footfall seen at different Jewelry shops in the town due to ‘Dhanteras. People are seen earthen diyas from different temporary roadside shops and also seen buying lights from different shops across the town.”“We have bought earthen diyas and we have planned to celebrate this year diwali by distributing sweets to small children,” said Sangram, a local.
