The Odisha government wants to make Puri a premier destination for pilgrims.
“Puri City will be developed into a world-class city. As we can all agree, Puri city has been neglected for a very long time. Speaking to media today, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan declared, “This government is committed to the people of this city and the international community to do all that is necessary to develop this city into a world-class pilgrimage center.”
In attendance at the second Rath Yatra 2024 coordination meeting was Harichandan. He stated that we must be ready to make some difficult choices in order to guarantee that the rites are performed on schedule, the Rath Yatra runs smoothly, and devotees have the opportunity to pull the chariots on Sri Gundicha.
