Media has been halted around 1.5 km from the town in Hathras as the SIT’s probe is going on.
In an open letter to the Chief Justice of India, women lawyers have asked quick move against liable police and organization officials.
“…we, along these lines, together, ask that Hon’ble the Supreme Court of India may take comprehension of the issue and pass such bearings as it might consider fit, for:
Constitution of a High Court monitored investigation and trial to ensure strictest and swiftest possible punishment to the accused in this crime; and
Immediate inquiry and suspension or any punitive action against all erring police, administrative, and even medical officers, who tried to manipulate the facts and evidence in this case; and
setting up of adequate institutional mechanisms and guidelines so no other victim or their family need to feel lost regarding our law and order, and suffer the same fate.”
Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad said on Wednesday that he was arrest by Uttar Pradesh Police put under house arrest in Saharanpur. Azad was going with the family members of the 19-year-old Dalit woman, who passed on subsequent to being gang-raped, from Delhi to Hathras when he was confined. “The entire world perceived how our sister was incinerated around evening time without the family and without their assent, in intrigue of the legislature and the police. The ethical quality of these individuals is dead. I was kept by their police the prior night and now I have been put under house arrest in Saharanpur. However, we will battle,” Azad tweeted in Hindi.
