In 2017, when BJP started to rein in the Uttarpradesh, several challenges in the bureaucracy cropped up. The work would continue till late night which was an exception before. Former Cheif Minister Yogi Adityanath was heard saying ” Hum yaha kaam karne aye hai ,aram nahi“. He is also fondly called “Karma – Yogi” (that loosely translates to someone who works well) by the inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh.

When the results of Uttar Pradesh elections were announced yesterday, The BJP managed to sweep UttarPradesh for the second time. Let us talk about the factors that contributed towards the significant win.

Free covid  vaccination

Not only free ration, free vaccones were provided during the covid time in the state of UttarPradesh. While people in several states like West Bengal paid as high as 900 for a single dose of vaccine the Government of Uttar Pradesh arranged free vaccines for all.

The nirmaan of Ram Mandir

The Ayodhya dispute has received limelight from people all over the world. Although a lot of political parties who reined in Uttar Pradesh before made promises to rebuilt Ram Mandir but evidently enough none of them were successful. Yogi Adityanath was the first person who made the claims true and thus got a lot of votes from the Ram devotees.

Decreasing crime rates and better law and order

The crime rates in Uttar Pradesh were never hidden. However in the past 4 years the crime rates in Uttar Pradesh have significantly decreased and people living in the state have agreed to this.

Last but not the least evoking the feeling of Hindutva is one of the major reasons why a lot of people came together and voted for BJP. “HINDUTVA” brought forward a collective belonging between sections of people and was one of the major reasons behind the BJP’s win.
