Revanth Reddy Hard Sells Telangana At Tokyo Roadshow

A. Revanth Reddy, the chief minister of Telangana, extended an invitation to Japanese businesses to visit his state and look for a China+1 option on Friday. He encouraged investors to make investments during the India-Japan Economic Partnership roadshow in Tokyo, saying they would prosper, expand, feel at home, and flourish. At a high-level Investment Roadshow, the Chief Minister and the official TelanganaRising delegation highlighted the state’s robust industrial ecosystem and invited Japanese companies to join in its expansion. According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office here, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy encouraged Japanese companies and investors to visit Telangana and make investments at the event, which was attended by more than 150 members of the Japanese business community.

“Japan is called the Land of the Rising Sun. Our state’s vision is TelanganaRising. Today, I am proud to say—Telangana is Rising in the Land of the Rising Sun. I am very happy to be in Tokyo. Your city is great, with excellent infrastructure, focus on environment and sustainability, and innovation.People of Japan are very nice, kind, respectful and disciplined. I have learnt many things from Tokyo for developing my city of Hyderabad,” the Chief Minister said.

Sibi George, India’s ambassador to Japan, opened the event by highlighting the close and expanding economic connections between the two countries. The Director General of JETRO, Bengaluru, Toshihiro Mizutani, then made remarks urging closer cooperation with Telangana. At the ceremony, promotional movies were produced for two government flagship projects: the Musi riverside Rejuvenation Project, one of India’s largest riverside development projects, and Future metropolis, the country’s first planned Net Zero industrial metropolis.
