The G20 exhibition in Odisha will be a platform to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage and its contributions to the country’s economic development. The exhibition will focus on four key themes: art and culture, tourism, trade and investment, and innovation and technology.
Under the art and culture theme, the exhibition will showcase Odisha’s famous handloom and handicraft products, including the famous Sambalpuri sarees and Pattachitra paintings. It will also highlight the state’s rich heritage of classical dance and music forms, including Odissi dance and the mardala drum.
The tourism theme will showcase the state’s natural beauty, including its beaches, forests, and wildlife sanctuaries. It will also highlight the state’s famous monuments, including the Sun Temple at Konark and the Jagannath Temple at Puri.
Under the trade and investment theme, the exhibition will showcase the state’s potential for investment and trade, with a focus on sectors such as minerals, textiles, and agriculture. The state has several large-scale industries, including steel, aluminium, and power, and the exhibition will highlight the state’s investment-friendly policies and infrastructure.
The innovation and technology theme will showcase Odisha’s contributions to the country’s technology landscape, including its emerging start-up ecosystem and its efforts to promote innovation in sectors such as renewable energy and healthcare. The exhibition will also feature a technology showcase, where start-ups and innovators from Odisha and other parts of India can showcase their products and services.
The G20 exhibition in Odisha will be a significant opportunity for the state to showcase its cultural and economic potential on a global stage.
