Samantha Ruth Prabhu has demonstrated her status as the most in-demand actress in the Indian film industry yet again. Samantha topped the list of “Most Popular Female Stars” just released by Ormax Media, surpassing notable actors like Alia Bhatt and Nayanthara. According to Ormax Media, Samantha outperformed every other prominent Bollywood actress on the list, including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt.
The actress from Theri recently captivated millions of hearts with her dance moves in the song “Oo Antava” from the movie “Pushpa The Rise,” which stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. The song broke numerous records in addition to lighting up the internet.
On November 4, Samantha’s forthcoming mythological drama “Shaakuntalam” will be released in theatres. The announcement was made on Friday by the production team behind the Gunasekhar-directed magnum blockbuster. Samantha, who appears to have taken a hiatus from social media, shocked her followers by tweeting, “Fourth of November it is. I appreciate your affection. My pillar of support has always been you. #Shaakuntalam”. Shaakuntalam is based on Kalidasa’s well-known play “Shakuntala.” Dev Mohan will play Dushyanta, and Samantha will play the title role.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is also hard at work getting ready for her new film, Citadel, which is the Indian spinoff of the same-named umbrella series. Varun Dhawan, a Bollywood actor, was also featured. After her popular OTT series “The Family Man 2,” Sam’s “Citadel” is her second espionage action thriller. In addition, Samantha will appear in the Hari and Harish-produced film “Khushi” opposite Vijay Deverakonda and Yashoda.
