What’s right and what’s not! The idealism we seek is mostly in our hands, manufactured by people with virtues and vices. What counts as a way to deal with life’s instances can be dealt with by teaching them young.
Yet we live in a far-from-ideal world, where moralities are constantly checked and compromised, while people have to fend for themselves. In such matters, we realise slow death and decay vs. fighting it out.
When Staying Unbeaten Matters: In matters of self-defence, taking things into our hands means a lot for people who deal with the rough side each day. Learning self-defence tactics and practising them regularly keeps them on their toes and prevents them from being overpowered by others. The reason we have these techniques being honed by people is because it’s a man-eats-man world out there, and having the strength to deal with it transfers power into the right hands!
Moral Values and Honest Teachings: As human beings who thrive on values that are shared amongst humanity, moral sciences and good values must be inculcated in the minds of young children. We must be educators in the true sense, and ask them to resolve matters amicably, with force being the final resort only. Values of peace, unity, and togetherness must feature in their minds and be truly represented by us through constructive dialogue, calmness and composure in grave situations. What makes us occupy the top position in the social interaction pyramid is our ability to douse situations with ease.
While we might debate which one is the better option, we must realise that the world has seen the power of love, compassion and hope in uniting countries across defining moments in the centuries gone by. Lives have been lost through wars and forceful captures, yet what has allowed people to return to happy ways? It’s the morals and the values within us, and the hope of creating a united front for all to thrive!
Let’s believe that everyone is out there to make a name; some resort to togetherness while others think of divide and rule, yet history has seen peaceful measures win over the hearts of millions!
Decide, decipher, decode, and deliver success for yourself and others in a manner that provides collective happiness, which will last for generations.
