According to rumours, Suchetana Bhattacharya intends to get a sex change procedure to transform into a man.The daughter of former West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, Suchetana Bhattacharya, reportedly stated that she intends to get a sex change procedure to transform into a male.According to India Today, Suchetana wants to change her name to “Suchetan” since she considers herself to be a male. The article further stated that Suchetana has started seeking legal counsel and obtaining all necessary certificates for the procedure.
According to Suchetana, “I identified myself as a man from my Montessori days on,” as reported by The Times of India. She continued by saying that the realisation grew stronger over time.In an interview with India Today, Suchetana claimed that her father has known about it ever since she was a young girl.
“I have made only this one choice in my entire life. I’ll make a request to everyone not to embellish this news. My own struggle is this. I want to take this on by myself. Better late than never, right? I’ve had this inclination since I was a young child. Many individuals cheered this on while others faced jeers. I want to be a trans man physically because I am a trans man mentally, she added.
