The School and Mass Education Department announced today that all state schools would reopen on June 21 following the summer break. Due to the state’s current heat wave, the summer break had already started on April 21.
The previous reopening date for the schools was June 19. However, the administration has decided to extend the date due to the extreme heat wave situation in the state. Today’s heat wave, which began in the early morning hours and spread throughout the state, caused riots in several areas of Odisha.
