Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the agricultural law. The New Agriculture Act has been strongly opposed in the Delhi Assembly. Kejriwal also criticized the Modi government. Not only that, Arvind Kejriwal has torn the copy of the new agricultural law within the assembly.
“How many more lives will the government take?” More than 20 farmers have been killed in the ongoing farmers’ movement in Delhi. Each farmer continues to agitate as one Bhagat Singh. Kejriwal said the central government should not be more greedy than the British.
Kejriwal has criticized a statement by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Yogi Adityanath said at a rally in Bareilly that all of the three agricultural bills had been brought in for the benefit of the farmers. Kejriwal, however, questioned whether the BJP could say what was the benefit of the farmers in the law. Targeting the BJP, Kejriwal said the BJP had given opium.
Kejriwal said the Delhi Legislative Assembly was rejecting the Agriculture Act brought by the Center. He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this: “One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure, there are going to be some difficult decisions for government”. However, the resolution passed to make the Agriculture Act obsolete in the Delhi Assembly has been approved.
