In a chilling case of betrayal and premeditated murder, a 32-year-old man was killed just weeks after his wedding in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district. The police have arrested eight individuals, including the victim’s wife and her lover, in connection with the heinous crime.
The victim, Ganta Tejeshwar, a private land surveyor and dance teacher from Rajaveedhinagar in Gadwal town, went missing on June 17. His body was discovered four days later in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district, near the HNSS canal. Authorities revealed that Tejeshwar was bludgeoned, his throat slit, and stabbed multiple times inside a car.
According to Superintendent of Police T. Srinivasa Rao, the murder was orchestrated by Tejeshwar’s 23-year-old wife, Aishwarya, and her 35-year-old lover, Tirumala Rao, a manager at a housing finance company. Shockingly, Rao had previously been in a relationship with Aishwarya’s mother, Sujata, before turning his attention to Aishwarya.
Despite getting engaged to Tejeshwar in December 2024, Aishwarya continued her affair with Tirumala. After being pressured by her family to marry Tejeshwar on May 18, Aishwarya and Tirumala conspired to eliminate him. They hired contract killers through a local commission agent, Kummari Nagesh, providing a GPS tracker to monitor Tejeshwar’s movements.
On June 17, the killers lured Tejeshwar to Kurnool under the guise of a land survey. During the return journey, he was murdered inside the vehicle. The killers then disposed of his body in a secluded canal area and discarded his belongings to avoid detection.
Rao allegedly paid ₹1 lakh as an advance to the killers on the day of the murder and another ₹2 lakh later. He and Aishwarya had plans to flee to Ladakh after the crime.
CCTV footage, mobile tracking, and forensic evidence helped the police crack the case swiftly. All eight accused are currently in custody, and further investigation is ongoing.
This deeply disturbing case has left the local community in shock, exposing a dark web of deceit, manipulation, and a deadly love triangle that ended in tragedy.
