The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of the Odisha government authorised 16 industrial projects totaling Rs 4,183 crore in nine different sectors on Saturday.
The projects for various sectors, including food processing, paper, wood and forest-based products, textile, apparel, and technical textile, polymers and plastic products, metal ancillary and downstream, waste management, chemical, circular economy, tourism, and cement, were approved at the 114th meeting of the SLSWCA, which was presided over by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra.The approved projects will be implemented in several districts around the state of Odisha, including six in Khordha, three in Puri, two in Koraput, and one in each of Cuttack, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, and Angul.
With a goal of providing over 12,973 people in the State with work possibilities, the government has approved these projects.In addition to the aforementioned industrial projects, the High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) was proposed ten other sizable projects by the SLSWCA, which are anticipated to provide about 30000 job possibilities.
