The Kerala Story’s prohibition is criticised by a BJP MP as being “anti-Hindu and anti-India.”

The Kerala Story screenings have been immediately prohibited by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in order to prevent any “incidents of hatred and violence.”Locket Chatterjee, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after the state government there banned the recently released movie “The Kerala Story.”She made a terrible error. She is unfamiliar with Bengalis. It appears that Mamata Banerjee is anti-Hindu, anti-India, and anti-women if she is banning #TheKeralaStory. The only thing the movie is based on is ISIS. She is likely attempting to outlaw this movie in order to conceal something, the MP told ANI.

To prevent any “incidents of hatred and violence,” the chief minister issued an immediate ban on the Sudipto Sen-directed film’s premiere on Tuesday. As a result, Bengal has become the first state to outlaw the movie, setting off a political brawl between the Trinamool Congress, the government, and the Bharatiya Janata Party, the opposition.
