Queen Elizabeth II, who ruled Britain for the longest time, passed away at the age of 96. She ruled for seventy years. The Queen’s grandchildren William and Harry, as well as their families, have gathered at her Balmoral retreat in the Scottish Highlands, where she spent her final days. The UK celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June to mark her 70 years of service to the country with big events.Queen Elizabeth surpassed her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria in 2015 to become the British monarch with the longest reign. She now holds the record for the second-longest reigning monarch in history.
