On May 27, amidst eager anticipation, a team of 22 individuals, primarily hailing from Karnataka, set out on a 35-kilometer trek from Uttarkashi, accompanied by seasoned guides from the Himalayan View Trekking Agency. Among them was also a lone trekker from Maharashtra, united by a common passion for exploration and a thirst for adventure.

As they traversed the rugged terrain, immersing themselves in the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas, little did they anticipate the treacherous turn of events awaiting them on their descent back to base camp.
