When Billionaire Entrepreneur Elon Musk put out a deal in public to buy Twitter at $44 Billion, there were headlines all throughout the world. Moreover, Twitter sealed the deal when they agreed to Elon Musk’s deal to acquire them at the cost. However, recently Elon Musk again publically announced his pulling out of the Twitter deal as he is no longer interested. This has led the social media giant Twitter to sue a cast against Elon Musk.
Tesla CEO Musk terminated the deal on Friday, saying Twitter had failed to provide information about fake accounts on the platform. Twitter chairman Bret Taylor immediately vowed to launch a legal fight. The company is planning to file a lawsuit in Delaware, as per the official report.
Twitter’s existing legal team includes Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, but they opted for Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz LLP to fight Musk.
