After cancelling about 50 flights on Monday, Vistara is expected to cancel about 60 flights on Tuesday. According to those in the know cited by news agency PTI, the number might perhaps reach 70. A company spokesperson said in a statement, “We have had a significant number of flight cancellations and delays in the past few days due to various reasons including crew unavailability,” that Vistara was forced to reduce the number of flights due to a shortage of pilots and crew.Additionally, the spokesperson stated that steps are being taken to stabilise the situation and that regular operations will shortly return.The representative continued, “Teams are working towards minimising the discomfort for the customers.”
