Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian visited Sikhar Chandi Temple at Pathar Gadia near Patia in Bhubaneswar on the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and reviewed development of the deity’s shrine as well as peripheral development works such as amenities for tourists and pilgrims and beautification of the Sikharchandi Hill region.
The overall plan, which is being developed by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), will improve recreational facilities and entertainment for visitors. Secretary (5T) directed officials to develop nature-aligned infrastructure, adventure sports, tracking, and view points in the Hill, as well as plan for community infrastructure development in the IDCO foothills plain area.
Pandian later visited the sites of the BDA’s Town Planning Scheme near Gothapatna and reviewed the project’s updated status as well as the development of the Ring Road under the TP Scheme. BDA has completed four Town Planning schemes, as well as the Ring Road, out of the total 45 Town Planning schemes planned. Secretary 5T directed officials to expedite progress on road, water, and electricity infrastructure, as well as other related development projects. He also directed BDA officials to use feedback from landowners to ensure the project’s success.
