A lady is accused of brutally attacking her husband with a vegetable cutter last night because he wouldn’t give her a phone. According to sources, the incident happened in the Bolangir district of Odisha’s Keserkela village, which is inside the Pukutla police jurisdiction. Eshwari Kumari, the accused woman, requested her husband Ganeshwar Suna give her his cell phone. Ganeshwar, though, resisted giving. The pair got into a heated argument over the same matter. Eshwari later attacked her husband with a vegetable cutter while he slept at night, which is when things turned violent. He suffered severe head and hand injuries as a result.
The woman then left the area with her kid, who was then 4 years old. Local people responded to the tragedy by saving Ganeswar from a pool of blood and bringing him to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital for treatment. The couple has been married for almost six years and have a daughter, age 4.
