Work from home is one of the most common methods that is being adopted nowadays. Work from home was started by several companies , during the time of lockdown. It is still debatable about is work from home the best option or not. During the pandemic time it was one of the most common mode for office goers. While this practice was followed for over a year several benefits were found . The problem of huge traffic was almost solved with the help of work from Home.
A lot of people were also able to save a good amopunt of their earning as they did not have to spend money on the travel ,and rent expenses that they usually had to. A lot of men and women had also managed to do household chores when they were at home. Let us now understand is this the most beneficial option in the long run or not . When we talk about work from home something that is required most is the quality of the work. A lot of people have argued that the quality of the work has decreased as they face constant hassle for maintaining concentration at home.
Moreover although there are several ways in which one can do the networking , there always is a better chance of networking when one works from the office. The setting of agenda – where basic goals and objectives of the year is decided is also done with full enthusiasm when one is at office. The doubt clearing sessions are easier to solve in office than in home. These are the basic adverse effects when it comes to work from home. However problems like traffic, environment pollution etc has decreased in this medium . People have also started to spend time with their familes which they had a problem with earler. There are benefits as well as some adverse effects of work from home. However it can be best said that this medium is suitable for some job portfolios and is a problem for some.
