The ‘Viswas Swaroopam’ Lord Shiva statue, billed as the tallest in the world, will be unveiled on Saturday in Rajasthan’s Rajsamand district. In the presence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Assembly Speaker CP Joshi, and others, the 369-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva, installed in the district’s Nathdwara town, will be opened to the public by spiritual leader and religion preacher from Gujarat Morari Bapu.
Following the inauguration of the statue, a series of religious, spiritual, and cultural events will be held in the state for nine days, from October 29 to November 6, according to Madan Paliwal, Sansthan trustee and Miraj group chairman.
The following is information about the world’s tallest statue:
1.Tat Padam Sansthan built the statue, which is located 45 kilometres from Udaipur.
2.The statue is designed in a meditation posture and is said to be visible from 20 kilometres away. It is situated on a hilltop over an area of 51 bighas.
3.The statue has been illuminated with special lights and is visible at night, according to Jaiprakash Mali, the program’s spokesperson.
4.The world’s tallest Shiva idol, ‘Viswas Swaroopam,’ has lifts, stairs, and a devotee hall. “To get inside, there are four lifts and three stairs,” Mali explained.
5.It took ten years to complete the statue. The project’s foundation was laid in the presence of Ashok in August 2012.
